Goyang Hans Basketball Club: Dive into the Excitement and Elevate Your Game

The Goyang Hans Basketball Club, an esteemed adult basketball team located in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, is currently welcoming new members to join its vibrant community. This club offers two distinct programs tailored to cater to different interests: a training-focused adult basketball class and a game-centric adult basketball club program. Both initiatives are designed for adult men and women who share an ardent passion for basketball.

Founded in 2009, the Goyang Hans Basketball Club has blossomed into a thriving community of over 400 members who collectively foster a love for the sport. The club’s influence reaches far beyond the confines of Goyang City, drawing enthusiasts from various other regions. The current recruitment drive aims to infuse fresh talent and enthusiasm into the team, ensuring its dynamic growth and sustained vigor.

The club holds regular practice sessions at the Jesus Love Sharing Welfare Center Gymnasium, conveniently situated in Haengsin-dong, Deogyang-gu, Gyeonggi-do. These sessions are scheduled every Friday and Sunday at 8 p.m., making it easy for members to participate consistently. The gymnasium’s location, just a brief 10-minute walk from Haengsin Station on the Gyeongui Line, ensures hassle-free accessibility for all attendees.

At the heart of the Goyang Hans Basketball Club is a commitment to creating a lively and supportive environment where members can hone their skills and enjoy themselves. The club is open to any adult male or female with a basic grasp of basketball and a courteous demeanor. New members will benefit from various perks, such as discounts on sports gear at Nike Itaewon Town and exclusive deals on basketball equipment.

The club’s leadership boasts impressive credentials. Professor Lee Hyeong-ju, a former national basketball team coach for the deaf and a current professor at Hongik University, serves as the head coach. Team leader Lee Jun-min, an experienced coach with numerous accolades, manages training as the primary coach. Members have ample opportunities to compete in various league games and participate in the Han Ki-beom Basketball School basketball competition, thereby gaining valuable experience and enhancing their skills.

A standout feature of Goyang Hans is its commitment to continuous improvement through performance analysis. All games are recorded and shared with members, allowing them to review and refine their play. This methodical approach has been instrumental in the team’s consistent progress over the years. With 17 years of rich experience and expertise, Goyang Hans provides a fun, safe, and nurturing environment for newcomers to learn and thrive.

The participation fee for the adult basketball classroom program is set at 100,000 won per month, while the adult basketball club program costs 80,000 won per month. Uniforms are available for purchase at 60,000 won. Director Lee Hyeong-ju emphasizes that Goyang Hans is not just a team but a family that supports and encourages each other’s growth.
